We have to cross over the Smith Street Bridge over the Erie Canal to see the sunset in the reflection of the Erie Canal. On the opposite side you can go down the access stairs to walk on the opposite side of the Erie along a stretch of concrete wall. Across the water the sun is setting below the trees and throwing nice rays up into the sky. The overflow gate can be seen on the edge of the Canal on the right side of the photo. We will have to move closer to get next to the water.

Thankyou. Over the next few days I will post the sunset series as it gets darker to show how the colors of the sky change dramatically with the setting sun.
