As I walked toward the Liftbrige tower at Park Avenue in Brockport, the sun was setting behind me and getting very low. It cast a very yellow light that was pronounced because the sky behind was very dark. The first image shows the glowing tower as I got closer, but then a strange thing happened. I got to just the right point and one of the beveled windows on the tower hit and reflected the light directly back to me like a lighthouse. The effect only lasted a moment or two.
