This foggy morning on the Erie Canal is finally getting lighter out and things are now visible. The lights have gone out, but the mist and fog are still around a little on the water. Here the tugboat Urger is more clearly visible tied up near the Welcome Center.

FOG MUST FRUSTRATE THE PHOTOGRAPHER. NORMAL WATER SURFACE REFLECTIONS ARE LARGELY DISTORTED. FOG ALSO FRUSTRATES PILOTS AS MY TOUR IN FOGGY ENGLAND CONFIRMED. SEVERAL MISSION DETOURS TO SUNNY SPAIN WERE NEEDED TO MAKE SAFE AIRCRAFT LANDINGS.

Interesting about the flight diversions. Going to Spain sounds nice to me. I like the fog as it adds lots of atmospheric effects and odd lighting.
