Walking down the hill away from the Bok Tower and out of the gardens you enter the grounds of Pinewood Estate with its 20 room Mediterranean style mansion.  Oddly, I didn’t see any pines from here, but I am thinking this hill used to be full of natural pines. The land surrounding the mansion is decorated with orange groves cut square in the style of Europe’s Lemon trees.  This must take forever to keep up, but it looks neat and nice and many of the trees were dropping citrus fruit.

Why HDR I am asked?  For those curiuos why I bother taking 5 shots and combining them to get a wide dynamic range, here is the “Pre” image or the image straight out of the camera of the top view.  Its quite dark because I am shooting almost into the sun. It was a raw file and could be opened up and lightened but not as much as the merged 5 bracketed shots in the above HDR tonemapped image:
