Let us go inside the wonderful Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, NY and look around.  Here we have gone upstairs to the older artifact section and great hall with the organ.  I stood and handheld 7 shots (as no tripods are allowed in the gallery) and then stitched the images together in Lightroom CC.  This was in the Horizontal direction.  This image turned out 38,000 pixels wide so it is reduced to 2,000 wide here:
