This morning the boats at dock at the Welcome Center in Brockport looked so peaceful. Its been 10 years since the Welcome Center was built and it has been a tremendous success. It is a travel center for boaters with free WiFI, restrooms, showers and even loaner bicycles and wagons to go downtown to shop in the stores. It supplies water and electricity and a safe harbor. It is probably the most welcoming spot in any of the the towns I have visited along the Erie Canal.
