It was a chilly 48 degrees F out on this early morning in the Adirondacks out on Fourth Lake.  We are looking out to the East towards the town of Inlet from some cottages.  I was at a WCHA (Wooden Canoe Heritage Association) gathering and got up early to see what it was like out there on the water.  I walked out on the docks as far as I could and it was super dark until a tiny bit of light started to peek out over the mountain tops.  In the distance there was fog.  The sky was actually this color purple and I think the reason for this is the meteorological term”Magic”.  I don’t really know, but it seems to happen more in the Adirondacks.
