On a trail near Twitchell Lake in the Adirondacks you could hear the waterfall noise from the road passing by. Following the lush green trail, we found the waterfall which was small but very noisy because it went down a very large granite rock cliff where it had carved deep furrows over the eons.  Some early Fall color in the foliage is starting to show.
