The Tugboat Urger is the oldest Tugboat on the Erie Canal system in NY State. It started life as the Steamship Doris in 1901 after being built in Michigan:
She was bought by the state and converted into a NY State working tug until retirement:
She was un-retired in 2001 and became an educational ship on the Erie Canal system:
