I try to get back to this small park out on the far end of Snead Island at least once a year. I would love to have a kayak or canoe with me on one visit as the water is always beautiful. There are even separate bicycle and footpaths all the way out to the point. The beach is the whitest of white powder sand like the real “powdered sugar” and the sun always seems to sparkle there. There are many types of mangroves that stabilize the beach and also seagrapes that are ancient. These are wild beaches as they naturally were when I came out here before it was a park 50 years ago.
