At the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake they had many displays of the making of Adirondack Pack baskets.  These are my favorite type of baskets and I have previously visited the shop of Jack Leadley and shown photos of his world famous baskets.  Here is a large display showing some of the tools of the trade and baskets in various stages being made:

This last basket is pretty torn up and worn, but is one of my favorites with a nice “Belly” on it.
