My favorite time of year is July in NY State when they have the WCHA (Wooden Canoe Heritage Association) meeting up in Paul Smiths College in the Adirondacks. Here our club of wooden canoe enthusiasts get together with about 200-400 canoes and we paddle, talk, and have classes on making and repairing canoes. Some of the better and rarer canoes were on display like this lovely one:
This canoe has large wooden decks and pin striping. The flag has the logo and letters of the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association.
