Paul Smiths College in the Northern Adirondacks used to be a fine and famous Hotel back in the late 1800’s.  Guests used to come by water with guides and mostly train to nearby towns. Then the Paul Smiths Stagecoach would come and pick them up for the last 17-22 miles.  This is the original Paul Smiths stagecoach which is usually sequestered in the dark building to the left. You can normally go look in the window and have a dim bulb light it up. On this surprising day, they had actually taken it out to air and be seen and for the first time in 20 years I had seen it in person.  Note it has a “US Mail” on the side as it used to officially deliver the mail also.
