One evening as the sun was setting in Old Forge, NY in the Adirondacks, I walked down to the bridge to see what was happening on the Moose River. This is a shallow river that is super winding and fantastic for canoeing. Just to the right of the bridge there is a huge Canoe outfitter where you can buy and rent Kayaks and Canoes.
