It is always worthwhile to travel down to Sarasota, Florida to see the old traditional Florida sights.  It is also new and exciting as the Ringling Brothers Museum is vibrant and new.  They have many buildings of Circus memorabilia, a vast grounds of landscaping with exotic plants and trees, the Large mansion Ca’ d’Zan on the waterfront of Sarasota Bay.  There is also the fabulous and very large John and Mable Museum of Art that is a must see. John Ringling made Sarasota the winter training grounds and home of Circus for the winters in 1927.  For a history see: Ringling Brothers.

This photograph was taken of one of the large canvas promotional posters near the Pullman Train Car in the museum.  It shows the more than 100 train cars that would gather and bring all the circus animals and people to new locations all over the United States since 1870.
