At the “Boneyard” of forgotten sculptures hidden in the woods at the Ringling Circus Museum there were many mysterious marble and sandstone sculptures. Most were toppled in the field and the trees and bushes had overgrown many. I wonder how they used to be used in architecture by the John and Mable Ringling mansion back in the early 1900’s? They collected sculptures from Italy and all over the world and brought them back to the Winter Circus grounds and Mansion in Sarasota, Florida.
