At the wine industry exhibits at the Glenn Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport, N.Y. in the Fingerlakes they had some original and rare items.  These large brass stencils were used by the wine companies to mark the end of crates of grapes and wine products. The first one is Pleasant Valley Wine Company which is also known as Great Western. They still have a plant you can tour and do wine tasting in the Hammondsport area.  The stencil is from Rheims, N.Y..

This next one is Taylor Wine of Hammondsport and they no longer sell at this location.
