At the summit of Cadillac Mountain they had this nice plaque discussing the history of Acadia National Park and Cadallic Mountain. Here George Dorr talks with Franklin Lane about the formation if Acadia National Park in Maine. John S. Kennedy a New York banker had bought the mountain and three others in 1908 and left them in his will to the state for a Park for everyone.
