After touring around inside the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania I heard about a second museum included in admission called Fort Pitt. It was 1.5 miles away so it turned into a nice Fall walk. Along the way I took photos of the great skyscrapers on this sunny day. This one had reflective blue glass and was so tall and majestic.

A few details of the top of this classically shaped steeple at Saint Anne’s Shrine in Sturbridge Village, Massachusetts. It was also a beautiful day with high clouds.

The sunrises were great on Sweetwater Lake near Congaree National Park in South Carolina, but the sunsets there were nice too.  Here it is approaching sunset on Sweetwater Lake and there were huge thunderhead clouds moving in. They were nicely reflected in the water that evening. We tried to go for a walk around the lake, but the below angry cloud changed our minds.

After walking out on the prairie at Lake Kissimmee State Park SouthEast of Orlando, Florida, I walked over to the marina and store there. The water was so still it made a nice reflection of the surrounding trees and sky. The marina connects to a narrow water channel that leads way out to the vast reaches of Lake Kissimmee.

We are walking around the shore of spectacular Lake George in the Southeast Adirondacks in New York State. The shoreline is great, but today the clouds put on a real show for everyone.

I skipped lunch and the world famous pot pies at the Jordan Pond restaurant in Acadia National Park in Maine. I wanted to spend my time down along the shoreline and take in more views of the pond and mountains.  Here a dead tree bad fallen into the water and sort of pointed at the great scenery.

In the very early morning in the Adirondacks at Kenmore Cottages on Fourth Lake, the sun has just risen and the water is super still.  This makes it reflective and you can see the high clouds reflected from the sky in the smooth water of Fourth Lake. There are no speedboats out on the lake yet so the air is quiet.

This is a mid day photograph of downtown Brockport reflected in the Erie Canal.  There was a huge thunderstorm cloud passing by to the South but it never rained here.  Next to the Welcome Center there is a red and white tent set up for the weekly free concert they have in the summer and fall.

After one Erie Canal Packet Boat left under the Park Avenue Liftbridge, there was one boat left near the Welcome Center.  This view is looking back towards Brockport and the Main street Liftbridge. The sun is rising behind us and just hitting the tops of some buildings. The clouds are reflecting in the calm Erie Canal.

The mansion of John Ringling at the Ringling Circus Museum, sits directly on Sarasota Bay.  The view is spectacular and this is looking back at the shoreline of the grounds from the expansive zig-zag marbled deck.  There are rows of lovely Royal Palm Trees and a grand walkway. To the left is a large tent set up for a wedding or other large function.
