Right at the entrance to the footbridge that crosses high over the Genesee River to the High Falls area sits the Genesee Brew House on the East Side. I finally went in to see what it was all about and how nice it is! The first floor is a museum for the Genesee Brewery complete with tasting room and the next floor is a lovely restaurant serving beer and food. They have outdoor dining on the terrace and even on the roof with vista views:

THE ROOF MAY BE SUITED FOR A DANCE FLOOR UNDER THE STARS WHERE CUSTOMERS GET ‘HIGH’ WITH AN ‘UMPAH’ DANCE BAND PLAYING POLKAS.

I didn’t hear any polkas up there, but it would be nice.
