Here we are walking Westward on the Erie Canal Pathway in Brockport, NY. We just left the Main Street Liftbridge and are heading West and looking at the Merchant Street Grill across the Erie Canal. This was taken in early Spring when the canal was just refilling. The water was actually running backwards to the West when it normally runs to the East. This brings in a lot of debris and sticks etc from the Genesee River.
