Walking back across the Liftbridge on Main Street in Spencerport, I stopped and took in a view of the Erie Canal with the tugboat and the little park with the blossoming tree at sunrise. You can see how low the sun still is off to the left. The bridge would shake and wobble violently when cars crossed over so I had to time the bracketed 6 shots so there was no car or truck during the process. If the tripod moves, the individual images don’t register or align as easily and makes things harder than they need to be.
If you like to notice details or problems in a photo, notice how HDR processes turns wires into puckered little strings. This could easily be fixed in post processing, but I prefer to leave it. It is not too hard to clone the wires entirely out also, but I don’t like to alter what the scene looks like in real life.
