Here at Old Fashioned Day in Mumford, NY the draft horses are plentiful and plowing the fields in late April at Locust Hill Farm. They use only draft horses and mules and ponies to plow the fields and disc them each year. This allows them to teach a new generation of people to see and learn how it all used to be done before tractors either steam or fuel based.
