Let us take a short tour around the George Eastman House in Rochester, NY. It is nearing spring and a few rare flowers are out like on the cherry trees here but it was still a cloudy, cold day out and the skies were threatening. Eventually it did rain on me and at 36 degrees out it felt pretty chilly.
This is the front of the George Eastman House on East Avenue. This avenue is full of huge stone and brick houses.

The building is huge with ornate gardens on both sides. I will be putting up photos of this area for the next week or so.

THE GROWTH OF GREEN GRASS SEEMS TO BE THE FIRST TO ANNOUNCE THE SPRING SEASON. THE EARTH TEMPERATURE LIKELY WARMS FIRST. LACK OF TREE FOLIAGE SUGGESTS A LAGGING WINTER SEASON. THE EASTMAN MASONRY HOME LOOKS SUBSTANTIAL WITH TALL COLUMNS, MUCH WINDOW FENESTRATION & NUMEROUS CHIMNEYS.
