While walking along the waterfront and Lansing River Trail in downtown Lansing, Michigan, some kayakers came by having fun paddling by. It is beautiful flat water and there is barely a perceptible current so they could paddle both ways and come into a docking area provided by the city every few hundred yards. The Lansing River Trail is right along the Grand River. Here you can see the city is large and the buildings tall.
